"Goode" is a reference to the character " Fiona Goode" ( Jessica Lange) from the third season of the TV series American Horror Story. Gigi might not come back to RuPaul's Drag Racein the near future, but fans will surely be watching Gigi's growth until she returns for the crown."Gigi" comes from her real last name, Geggie. While fans are desperate for Gigi to return for RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, Gigi is in no rush, as she told Gay Timesshe intends to wait until she's "a different drag queen." Fortunately, Gigi has been evolving at a rapid rate, from owning her trans identity to expanding her performance skills. Gigi was also seen supporting her House of Avalon sister Symone in her triumphant quest for the crown during season 13. Gigi was featured in an episode of HBO Max's original coming of age series, Generation. Outside of modeling, Gigi has booked acting gigs since season 12. Gigi also starred in Rihanna's Savage X Fenty show in October 2020, along with fellow Drag Race alumni Shea Couleé and Jaida. Gigi is an accomplished model who has worked with iconic brands like Moschino, Vogue, and i-D. In addition to embracing who she is, Gigi has been building up her resumé as an entertainer since leaving Rupaul's Drag Race. The Drag Race season 12 star clarified, "I identify as a trans/nonbinary person and I prefer she/her pronouns," and shared that she's in the process of legally changing her name to Gigi. Gigi got right to the point, starting her video by sharing, "Around 8 months ago in January, right at the beginning of the year, I decided to begin the process of hormone replacement therapy." Gigi explained that hormone replacement theory involves "taking estrogen and testosterone blockers - differing on the person." Gigi stated that for her purposes, she underwent this process "as a means of bringing in the woman and pushing out the man." Gigi shared an 8-minute video, which featured several of her announcements, the most outstanding of which is her identity as a trans person. On Sunday, August 29, Gigi took to Instagram to keep her 1.3 million followers in the loop.

Recently, Gigi shared another major update on her gender journey with her fanbase. Gigi from Drag Race spoke out about her LGBTQ+ identity and announced that she was gender fluid.
Gigi also left an impression on fans because of the emotional journey she had outside of the competition. With a unique, fashion-forward style and a wit that won her 4 challenges, Gigi was a tough act to beat on Drag Race. From the jump, Gigi stood out as a frontrunner in the competition. When Gigi entered the competition, she was just a 21-year-old drag queen from Los Angeles. Gigi starred on RuPaul's Drag Race season 12, which premiered in February 2020.
